Hi everyone,

My new book, Wreck Diving Tales: Diving Nova Scotia's Shipwrecks is now available from the publisher's webstore, iUniverse, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and many other booksellers and dive shops. It's not yet listed at Chapters, but I trust it will be available there soon as well.

Cheers,
Al Henneberry

MY GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER, SARAH BRANN CULLEN, WHO WAS BORN IN ENGLAND IN 1807 OR 18O8, MARRIED ROBERT CULLEN.  IN THE EARLY 1840'S ROBERT CAME TO FINLEY ROAD, SARATOGA COUNTY, NEW YORK STATE, USA TO BUILD A HOUSE ON A SMALL FARM, LEAVING HIS WIFE AND MANY CHILDREN IN ENGLAND UNTIL THEIR HOME WAS COMPLETED.
IN 1844 HE WENT TO NY CITY TO MEET THEM, BUT THE SHIP DID NOT ARRIVE.  HE WAS TOLD THAT THEY PROBABLY WERE LOST AT SEA.  SEVERAL MONTHS LATER THEY CAME INTO CANADA, HAVING BEEN SHIPWRECKED ON AN ISLAND.  ONE LITTLE GIRL DID NOT SURVIVE.
SOMEONE RECENTLY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A SHIPWRECK OFF NOVA SCOTIA IN THAT ERA.  I AM ANXIOUS TO GET THIS INFORMATION, BECAUSE I AM 82 YEARS OLD AND KNOW MORE ABOUT MY ANCESTERS THAN MY MUCH YOUNGER COUSINS & I AM WRITING MY MEMOIRS FOR THEM.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU COULD GIVE ME.
